In 1961, Paul McCartney bought his first Hofner violin bass through the Steinway shop in Hamburg Germany. That same instrument went missing in 1969 and hasn't been seen since.

The HFN 1961 Deluxe is my tribute to that now legendary bass and it's owner, Paul McCartney. It features a white oak background with red vertical and horizontal fins. The body sports a classic British flag motif along with MGB tuning keys. A rosewood fretboard and custom copper pickups complete the look.
